Invasion of Konoha: Kidomaru made his first appearance with the rest of the Sound Four, erecting a barrier to keep others from interfering in Orochimaru's fight with the Third Hokage. He later escorted Orochimaru when he fled.

Sasuke Retrival Arc: The Sound Four escorts Sasuke Uchiha when he decides to join sides with Orochimaru. After Team Shikamaru caught up with the Sound Four, Kidomaru allowed the rest of his group to go ahead of him while he caught and toyed with their pursuers. Neji is able to free everyone from Kidomaru's webbing using his Gentle Fist and engages Kidomaru in battle. He fought Neji using his spider techniques which, even with Neji's Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, were difficult to defeat. He revealed a golden armor that was made from liquid secreted from his sweat glands that protected him from powerful attacks to prevent Neji from closing his chakra points. He used the same element of spider silk to make an arrow and discovered the Byakugan's blind spot. Although he was able to hit Neji, Neji used the arrow to close all of Kidomaru's chakra points by transferring chakra through the web, eventually killing him.

Personality: Kidomaru generally saw a battle as a game, and often played around with the opponent too much because he preferred to have fun seeing the opponent struggle. His speech also reflected this; when battling Neji Hyuga, he referred to Neji as a "minor character" and analyzed his situation using typical gaming language ("level" and "difficulty"). He is also extremely arrogant with his opponents, and sometimes swears if he is in a tough situation.

Strengths: Kidomaru is skilled in Long range, Spider summons and traps. Also Kidomaru is very crafted in making weapons with his sticky gold.

Weakness's: Though it is shown that Kidomaru is weak to Short range fightning, When in the Curse Seal Two state Kidomaru can overcome that weakness. Kidomaru's sticky gold and spider webs techniquly have no element, thus he doesn't really have a elemental weakness.

Abilities
Curse Seal Two: When in his Level 2 cursed seal form, his skin became darker, he gained horns on his forehead, shoulders and elbows, and grew long white hair. Kidomaru in the curse seal state has enchanced hearing and sight, having close to a 360 feild of vision with his third eye.

Smarts and Feild of Range:
Kidomaru was an excellent tactical analyzer, capable of figuring out his enemy's weak point quickly and efficiently, and also enjoyed playing with his enemies before he killed them. He seemed to prefer fighting from a distance, lending him a considerable advantage and allowing him to avoid close-combat, his worst type of fighting.

Sticky Gold: Kidomaru possessed four extra arms for a total of eight limbs, a third eye to improve his aim, and had the ability to make webs through a special type of liquid that was created by infusing spit or sweat with chakra. He could make this into webs of chakra, that only Neji and his gentle fist were able to cut, or create a thicker gold liquid that hardened into a chakra-blocking metal. This hardened material could be fabricated into body armor that could completely defend him from physical attacks and impacts, kunais and other throwing weapons, or his especially deadly bow and arrows that refined its attack potential with every use. In keeping with his spider-theme, he could summon the Kyodaigumo, a giant spider that could use the Rain of Spiders technique.

This technique makes a cocoon of web around the opponent, immobilizing him and leaving him open for other jutsu. The stickiness comes from Kidomaru mixing his chakra with his body fluid. The technique is so refined, that even after having left his body, his chakra will still continue to flow through the thread to hold his opponent in place.

If Kidomaru is in enemy territory and needs to rest while still remaining on guard, he can lay spider thread throughout all of a surrounding area. Most ninja will recognize the thread as common spider web, however; this thread will run all the way back to a finger on Kidomaru's hand. Slight movement against a webbing thread will pull it all the way back to Kidomaru's finger and alert him to the nearby presence.

When in his level two cursed seal form, Kidomaru expels Spider Sticky Gold from his mouth and gathers it to form a large warbow. He will then open his third eye on his forehead to increase the pin-point accuracy of his shot. Kidomaru is known for not making any wasteful attacks since each attack is used to further refine ways to kill his target. With his bow firings taking several forms, each time he refines the attack, the power and accuracy will further increase by adding a drill to the arrowhead or the use of chakra control to the arrow through a string attached, respectively. The impact of each arrow is strong enough to create craters in the ground, and with the drill added, pile drive through forests.

This technique is a secret spider style move which is used by both Kidomaru and his boss summon, Kyodaigumo. This technique is a powerful healing move which involves the work of chakra filled spider webs.

When this technique is used by Kidomaru, Kidomaru first releases chakra through his body and mouth to form special medical spider webs. Once the webs are created Kidomaru begins to spin in a 360 motion, releasing the webs all around to form a cacoon around himself. Once the cacoon is fully created Kidomaru presses both his palms to it and releases a large amount of chakra through it. Slowly and graudaly the cacoon releases threads of medical ninjutsu chakra into Kidomaru which slowly begin to heal his wounds. Because this move takes a large amount of chakra it is very seldum used.

Much like how Kidomaru used this technique, Kyodaigumo's method also releases spider webs to form a cacoon around himself. This is used with the help of Kidomaru and some of his chakra which fuses with Kyodaigumo's to create a healing process, this move can even revive the spider, though it cannot revive humans. This move can also be used to speed up the eggs in Kyodaigumo to become fully grown before they are even created, releasing large spiders from his body.

Kyodaigumo (巨大蜘蛛; Literally meaning "Giant Spider") is a giant spider and the personal summon of Kidomaru. Once summoned, Kyodigumo can quickly release an egg sac full of baby spiders roughly the size of a small dog. To perform Rain of Spiders, Kidomaru then cuts open the sac, causing the rapidly hatched spiders to rain down on his opponent. The spiders will spin a strand of webbing as they fall, circling the opponent in webbing and sticking them to the ground. These spiders converge on their victim's location, ensnaring their victims in spiderwebs, cutting off the victim's exits and restricting their movements until the victim is completely encased in a cocoon. Kyodaigumo can also explode into webbing if hit.
